This winter’s award season has seen some new trends popping up for the red carpet. Some celebrities have shown off their best looks by going with rich velvet fabrics in red, black and white. Another trend that keeps showing up during awards season this year is the bridal look. Dolce & Gabbana has outfitted major celebrities nominated for awards all over the show circuit. Here are the best looks from the Grammys and Emmys.
Kylie Minogue in Dolce & Gabbana
One celeb that went with the red look this year was Australian pop superstar, Kylie Minogue. Minogue went with a red Dolce & Gabbana gown at the Grammys that turned heads. It featured a unique bodice of woven satin and a long, flowing skirt and cape. Minogue collected a Grammys win for best pop dance song, “Padum Padum.”
Tyler James Williams
Abbott Elementary star Tyler James Williams is another celeb who made a splash in Dolce & Gabbana this winter. For the Emmys ceremony, he wore a leather suit that was custom-designed by the fashion house. He accessorized his suit with a diamond choker necklace, black dress shoes and a Cartier watch.
Maluma
Colombian superstar sensation Maluma showed up to the Grammys award in an iconic Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. The Grammy-nominated artist paired his sophisticated tux with an eye-catching watch by Jacob & Co. that reportedly cost over one million dollars. Although Maluma did not win for his category that night, he definitely made a splash onto the music scene with his look.
Zanna Roberts Rassi
Zanna Roberts Rassi brought menswear style to her look at the Emmys award show this year. She went with an all-black ensemble of a tailored sports coat and pencil skirt by Dolce & Gabbana. Rassi is a regular on the red carpet who interviews celebrities for various entertainment news outlets but also has made a name for herself for her fashion looks and sense of style.
Seth Myers
Late night talk show host Seth Myers also upped the ante for men’s fashion at the Emmys this year. Myers chose a classic Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo for his awards show look. Myers has come a long way since his start in writing and acting in late night show, Saturday Night Live. Myers, who hosted the awards ceremony in 2014, was nominated for Best Talk Show and Best Writing for a talk show this year.
Michael Imperioli
Michael Imperioli marked the 25th anniversary of his legendary show, The Sopranos, at this year’s festivities for the Emmys. Imperioli wore a sleek Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo for the occasion. He shared the stage with former co-star Lorraine Bracco. The two stars remembered their late co-star James Gandolfini while the audience cheered on in tribute.
Jon Hamm
Mad Men star Jon Hamm also showed up to the Emmys in a custom-sized Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. He was joined by his wife, Anna Osceola, who also made an appearance on his AMC show. Hamm, who has been nominated 16 times for an Emmy, won in 2015 for his portrayal of Don Draper.
