Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have faced baby rumors ever since they tied the knot in November 2018 in New York, partly because of their own admissions. “I love kids and I can’t wait to have my own,” Hailey told Vogue Arabia in November 2018. “I would say now that’s a closer reality.”
The couple has also uploaded Instagram posts sparking speculation about a baby. In July 2021, Bieber wrote ‘Mom and Dad’ alongside a photo of himself and Hailey. Tabloids and fans interpreted the caption as an announcement that the pair were expecting.
Hailey’s comment that Biebs meant ‘dog mom and dad’ dampened the speculation. However, some still wonder if Justin Bieber has kids.
Justin and Hailey Bieber are not ready to have kids yet.
Hailey told WSJ. Magazine that she and Justin won’t welcome kids in the next year due to their hectic schedules. Justin’s Justice tour will kick off in 2022 and end in March 2023. Hailey plans to accompany Justin and roll out her new skin-care brand in 2022.
Baldwin challenged the societal expectation to have children soon after getting married. Hailey said that she’s still young and has plenty of time to start a family later in life:
“Everybody always assumes it’s: First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby. I think I had it ingrained in my head that I was going to want to have kids right away and I was going to want to have kids super, super young. Then I turned 25 and I’m like, I’m still super, super young!”
Justin issued a similar statement during a 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2020. Bieber revealed that Hailey has things she’d like to achieve before thinking about children. He said:
“There’s not really an issue, but I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman. And I think she just is not ready yet, and I think that’s OK.”
For the next couple of years, we don’t expect Hailey and Justin to conceive. Hailey told WSJ. Magazine that the pair will likely start trying in two years:
“I think ideally in the next couple of years we would try. But there’s a reason they call it try, right? You don’t know how long that process is ever going to take.”
Justin Bieber has made no secret of his desire to have many children. He told Ellen DeGeneres that he’ll have as many as Hailey’s willing to ‘push out.’ He said:
“I’m going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out. I’d love to have myself a little tribe, but it’s her body and whatever she wants to do.”
Meanwhile, Hailey has vowed to speak less often about her personal life and marriage. She and Bieber have spoken freely about the marriage, but Hailey has resolved to take a different approach moving forward.
Baldwin told WSJ. Magazine that she blames her changed attitude on the media’s alleged insistence on taking things out of context. She explained:
“It doesn’t feel worth it to me anymore when I try to have an open conversation with someone like you and then it gets taken out of context. The media loves to take a tiny little blurb of something for clickbait. The media has always been a disgusting thing.”
Hailey has previously protested the constant baby rumors emerging from tabloids. In response to a 2020 report from a tabloid claiming that she was pregnant, Hailey wrote on her Instagram Stories:
“Since I know you guys were about to break your little story, I’m not pregnant. So, please stop writing false stories from your sourced and focus on what’s important aka elections.”
